Job Title: Regional Analyst – SDV, Autonomous Driving, Semiconductor

The Team:

The analyst will be part of a global team of experts specializing in Software Defined Vehicles, autonomous driving, electronics, and semiconductors. Our team is part of a broader group of analysts worldwide, researching the vehicle market and its technologies, maintaining our position as the undisputed global market leader. The South Korean analyst will interact daily with colleagues across the globe and work closely with the local sales team and other analysts in Korea covering the local vehicle market and related technologies, such as connected cars and batteries. We value a global mindset, collaboration, and continuous learning, ensuring our research remains relevant and impactful in the rapidly evolving automotive landscape.

Responsibilities and Impact:

Conduct in-depth research and analysis on emerging technologies in Software Defined Vehicles, focusing on semiconductors, advanced electronics architectures, and autonomous driving technologies. Research the supply chain and technology adoption trends in the SDV, autonomous driving and electronics sectors. Provide insights and forecasts on market trends and technology developments within the SDV, autonomous driving, and electronics spaces. Build and maintain a strong industry network with car makers, suppliers (from system to chip level), and tech companies in South Korea to gather valuable insights and collaborate on research initiatives. Collaborate with global teams to integrate regional insights into broader research initiatives. Work closely with the local sales team to support business development efforts in the region by providing market intelligence and strategic insights. Present findings to internal stakeholders and external clients to support strategic decision-making. Contribute to publications and reports that highlight the impact of SDV, autonomous driving, electronics, and semiconductor technologies on the automotive industry. Engage with industry leaders and participate in relevant conferences to stay updated on the latest advancements.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in the automotive industry or in market research, with a focus on business development or market analysis. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into strategic insights. Proficiency in English and Korean, both written and verbal.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with the Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) and autonomous driving technologies. Experience working with or alongside sales teams to support business development. Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing industry landscape and manage multiple priorities. Strong presentation skills and the ability to convey complex information effectively to diverse audiences.
