Regional Account Manager – Public Sector

You would act as the key Account Manager for public sector accounts within your assigned territory, with a focus on driving long-term strategic engagement and adoption of Fortinet’s solutions.

As a Regional Account Manager, you will:

Create and implement strategic account plans to support the broad deployment of Fortinet products and services across public sector organizations. Build and maintain trusted relationships with decision-makers, influencers, and partners. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to prepare and deliver proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and Statements of Work. Negotiate business terms to achieve outcomes that are beneficial for both Fortinet and the customer. Serve as the main point of contact for account activities, information sharing, and executive engagement. Collaborate closely with internal account teams to ensure quality execution and shared success within the region. Build and maintain a healthy, accurate sales pipeline and meet or exceed quarterly sales targets. Travel as required to engage customers and partners and support business development efforts.

We Are Looking For:

A relationship-focused and results-driven team member. We welcome applicants who bring the following skills and experience:

Experience in technology sales, preferably in the public sector. Understanding of cybersecurity or enterprise networking is strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and close high-value deals. Consistent track record of exceeding sales quotas and thriving in an individual contributor role. Previous success selling security solutions such as Firewall/VPN, Antivirus, or IDS/IDP. Strong communication and presentation skills, adaptable to a range of audiences. Strategic thinker with strong organizational and planning capabilities. Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work across teams and develop strong internal and external relationships. High level of professionalism, integrity, and motivation.
