When we do everything in service of our patients and caregivers, no detail gets ignored. On our facilities team, your job will be to create a comfortable and safe environment — just like our patients have come to expect. You’ll gain experience working on a wide range of projects and HVAC systems throughout our facilities, train with the newest technology and receive guidance from fellow caregivers and management.
A caregiver in this position works evenings 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. with occasional weekends requirements.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Regularly inspect, diagnose, repair and perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration and HVAC systems. Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration/air conditioning systems and other equipment, such as refrigerators, freezers, walk-in coolers, medical and process chillers, cooling equipment, cryogenic freezers and rooftop heating/cooling units. Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic controls, solid state microprocessors and system alarms. Repair refrigerant leaks and evacuate and adjust refrigerant charges.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
High school diploma or GED State of Ohio EPA approved certificate for either Type I and Type II or Universal Refrigerant Systems Service Three years of experience as a commercial/residential air conditioning refrigeration technician. Military experience as a Machinists Mate, Utilities man, Utilities Equipment Repairer or a similar role will be considered Formal vocational classroom study in refrigeration, air conditioning and/or air handling may substitute up to 1 year of experience Ability to read electric schematic diagramsPreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Completion of a formal HVAC/Refrigeration training program Work experience in a hospital settingPhysical Requirements:
