Refinery Site Manager (Downstream Chemicals) - Lemont, IL

As a Refinery Site Manager, you are responsible for:

Safely managing day-to-day operations of refinery process, finished fuels, and water treatment programs to ensure performance and value delivery for our customersManaging a team of Account Representatives and Technicians at our customer’s location in Lemont, ILDeveloping trusted relationships with customers and cross-functional teams to promote collaborationApplying account management fundamentals to understand customer needs, requirements and potential sales opportunities while supporting the account P&LIdentifying and coordinating numerous projects of varying complexity to bring value to our customersRoutine monitoring and reporting of performance of existing treatment programsCollaborating with team members to drive technical sales and innovative solutions that bring value to our customersCollecting and interpreting data for troubleshooting, service reports, meetings, reviews, and presentations delivered to customersProviding field support, laboratory analysis and technical guidance for our customers on issues, projects, turn-arounds, shut-downs, and daily operationsManaging chemical inventories and deliveries at the customer location

To be successful in this role, will require:

Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering (preferred) or similar disciplineMinimum of 10 years’ experience in Refining, supporting hydrocarbon process and finished fuels additives treatment programsStrong understanding of industrial chemical treatment technology and sales processStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsPrevious experience working in a laboratory setting and/or familiarity with analytical methods and interpretationA comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and refinery market conditionsAbility to present complex technical content to various levels of internal and external organizations, in a clear and concise mannerProficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)Ability to drive a company vehicle as required to perform job duties (motor vehicle record checks will be performed to determine eligibility to drive a company vehicle)A TWIC Card or ability to obtain a TWIC CardResiding in a commutable distance to Lemont, IL

The annual pay scale for this position is between $76,800.00 - $1,90,900.00.

Candidates for this role (office-based/ hybrid/ remote) must be located in or near the locations displayed above. The pay range/scale displayed above represents Baker Hughes’ good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position at the time of this posting and applies to the possible locations for this position. Baker Hughes will issue a non-bias competitive offer; the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hires, full-time salaries in some U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits.
