Recruitment & Mobilisation Officer  – Hope Valley, WA

Are you a dynamic recruiter with strong coordination skills, looking for a challenging and rewarding role on an 8:6 roster? We're seeking a motivated Recruitment & Mobilisation Officer to join our team in Hope Valley, managing both end-to-end recruitment and mobilisation for blue and white-collar roles, with a key focus on shutdown projects.

About the Role

In this position, you'll oversee the full recruitment lifecycle and coordinate seamless mobilisation of personnel to multiple shutdown and operational sites across WA. You'll work closely with internal teams and external candidates to deliver quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment:

Manage end-to-end recruitment for casual and permanent blue and white-collar roles.Previous experience with mobilising personnel to BHP sitesFocused sourcing and placement of high-demand roles such as Riggers, Crane Operators, HSE Advisors, and Truck Drivers.Conduct thorough candidate screening and interviews using tools like FastTrack360, Broadbean, MPower/Workday, FCC, Onboarded, Referoo, and LinkedIn.Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and deliver effective hiring solutions.Maintain consistent communication with candidates and internal stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.

Mobilisation:

Coordinate end-to-end mobilisation for shutdown crews across WA.Manage a pool of casual workers – scheduling, allocating, and ensuring project readiness.Book, verify, and track tickets and compliance documentation using systems such as FCC and MPower.Liaise with Fleet Controllers to meet site-specific mobilisation requirements.Provide weekend support to ensure continuity across shutdown projects.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience recruiting and mobilising shutdown workforces, particularly blue-collar roles.Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.High-level proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel – must be confident in managing spreadsheets, reports, and data tracking.Familiarity with workforce planning, compliance tracking, and onboarding.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation and compliance.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport across all levels.Hands-on experience with systems such as FastTrack360, MPower, FCC, and Onboarded is highly desirable.A team player who thrives under pressure and enjoys a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Mandatory Requirements

Work Location: Must be able to work onsite at our Hope Valley office.Roster: 5 days on, 2 days off. 8-hour days.National Police Clearance (valid within the last 12 months).Pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen.Must reside in close proximity to the office.Previous experience with mobilising personnel to BHP sites
