The Recruiter / Recruiting Coordinator plays a crucial role in driving the talent pipeline by leading sourcing efforts, primarily through LinkedIn Recruiter, while supporting essential coordination tasks throughout the recruitment lifecycle. This role involves proactively identifying talent, executing targeted search strategies, sending high-quality outbound messaging, and conducting initial screening interviews. Additionally, the position requires managing interview scheduling, candidate communication, and maintaining ATS systems to ensure an efficient and organized hiring process. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role, ideal for individuals passionate about sourcing, engaging with candidates, and ensuring the smooth operation of the recruitment process.
Responsibilities
Manage LinkedIn Recruiter sourcing by building and saving searches, running projects, creating talent pools, and managing pipelines.Represent the organization at recruiting events, job fairs, campus engagements, and networking functions to attract qualified talent and build a strong candidate pipeline.Craft Boolean/X-ray strings and iterate on search logic to quickly surface hard-to-find talent.Send high-quality, personalized InMails at scale; track response rates and optimize messaging through A/B testing.Conduct initial qualification screens (resume review and 15–20 minute phone/video interviews) and present calibrated shortlists with notes.Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to prioritize requisitions, profile target companies, and define ideal candidate criteria.Post jobs, manage ATS workflows (move stages, update dispositions), and keep candidate data clean and current.Coordinate interviews (phone, video, onsite), handle calendar logistics, confirm details, and prepare candidates and interviewers.Maintain sourcing and activity dashboards (submissions per week, response rates, interviews scheduled, funnel health).Ensure an excellent candidate experience through timely communication and professional follow-through.Support ad hoc talent acquisition projects (talent mapping, market insights, diversity sourcing, referral campaigns) as assigned.Essential Skills
High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.3-5 years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, or agency/RPO staffing with extensive LinkedIn Recruiter usage.Experience scheduling interviews and supporting full-cycle recruiting preferred, with exposure to tech or growth companies.Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter including Projects, Pipeline, Advanced Search, Spotlights, and InMail.Clear and concise outbound messaging skills with evidence of high InMail reply and conversion rates.Excellent organization and multitasking skills, balancing sourcing sprints with daily scheduling demands.Detail-oriented with a focus on ATS hygiene, scheduling accuracy, and consistent candidate updates.Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Teams) and adaptability to new talent acquisition tools.Professional discretion and confidentiality in handling candidate and company information.Additional Skills & Qualifications
2-3 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist.Recruiting experience is required.SHRM Certification is preferred.Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment laws.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Work Environment
This position is based on-site from Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. The role is a 3-month contract

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr.
