Job Description
This role leads full life cycle technical recruiting for software development and engineering positions, with a strong focus on cloud storage and analytics teams. You will recruit, interview, check references, extend offers, and support new hire orientation while managing multiple searches and stakeholders. Drawing on your experience and judgment, you will drive sourcing strategies, build strong candidate pipelines, and directly influence the growth and success of high-impact engineering teams.
Responsibilities
Manage full life cycle recruiting for technical roles, particularly Software Development Engineer positions and other software engineering roles.Source, identify, and engage top technical talent for cloud storage and analytics teams, including areas such as cloud storage services and analytic systems.Conduct candidate interviews, evaluate qualifications, and assess technical and cultural fit in partnership with hiring teams.Check references, prepare and extend offers, and support the onboarding process, including coordination of new hire orientation.Perform exit interviews and process changes in employee status as needed.Build, own, and drive talent sourcing initiatives to create and maintain strong candidate pipelines for current and future openings.Manage and prioritize multiple concurrent searches, projects, and client relationships in a fast-paced environment.Leverage applicant tracking systems, resume databases, internet sourcing tools, and complex spreadsheets to track candidates and recruiting activities.Collaborate closely with hiring managers, the talent acquisition director, and team members to understand hiring needs and deliver effective recruiting solutions.Promote the employer brand in the marketplace and represent the organization professionally to all candidates and external partners.Apply leadership principles such as delivering results, earning trust, and maintaining a bias for action in daily recruiting activities.Use creativity and sound judgment to plan and accomplish recruiting goals, exercising a wide degree of latitude in sourcing and candidate engagement strategies.Contribute positively to a competitive, high-energy recruiting culture and act as a positive influence on the team.Essential Skills
At least 3 years of corporate and/or agency technical recruiting experience, including sourcing and full life cycle recruiting.Demonstrated experience recruiting for engineering roles, with a strong focus on software engineering and SDE positions.Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple searches, projects, and client relationships simultaneously.Experience building and driving talent sourcing initiatives to meet hiring goals.Hands-on experience with recruiting and people-related tools and systems, including applicant tracking systems, resume databases, internet sourcing tools, and complex spreadsheets.Recent technical sourcing experience, with SDE sourcing highly preferred.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and concisely with candidates and colleagues.Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes, tools, and hiring priorities.Positive attitude and the ability to act as a positive influence within a competitive team environment.Familiarity with a variety of recruiting concepts, practices, and procedures, and the ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree is preferred.Experience in both corporate and agency technical recruiting environments is highly valued.Client-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement in recruiting processes and outcomes.Ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders.Demonstrated focus on cost-conscious recruiting efforts, continually seeking new sourcing options and creative approaches to candidate delivery.Strong organizational and negotiation skills, with a keen focus on delivering business results.Ability to execute recruiting strategies, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process management.Comfort working closely with talent acquisition leaders and contributing to broader TA initiatives.Capacity to lead and direct the work of others when needed, exercising creativity and independent judgment.Work Environment
This role is 100% onsite in San Diego and operates within a casual yet highly driven and competitive recruiting team. The environment is collaborative, with a balance of teamwork and heads-down focus time. You will sit in close proximity to the talent acquisition leadership, including the manager and director of the TA organization, which enables fast communication and strong alignment on hiring priorities. The team is high energy, goal-oriented, and motivated by seeing the direct impact of the hires they bring into the organization. You will work extensively with applicant tracking systems, resume databases, internet sourcing tools, and complex spreadsheets as part of daily recruiting operations.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $42.00 - $42.00/hr.
