Job Description
The Recruiter II is responsible for recruiting, interviewing, checking references, making offers, and conducting orientations for new employees. Additionally, this role involves performing exit interviews and processing changes in employee status. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of experience in recruiting or a related field. A deep understanding of various recruiting concepts, practices, and procedures is essential. The role requires extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish recruitment goals. The Recruiter II may lead and direct the work of others and is expected to demonstrate a wide degree of creativity and latitude.
Responsibilities
Recruit and interview potential candidates.Check references and make job offers to selected candidates.Conduct orientation sessions for new employees.Perform exit interviews and process changes in employee status.Collaborate with management to plan and accomplish recruitment goals.Lead and direct the work of others as needed.Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.5-8 years of experience in recruiting or a related area.Familiarity with a variety of recruiting concepts, practices, and procedures.Strong judgment and extensive experience in planning and accomplishing recruitment goals.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in technical recruiting.Proficiency in using ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems).Background in talent acquisition.Work Environment
The work environment involves collaborating with various departments to accomplish recruitment goals. The role typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department and may require leading and directing the work of others. A high degree of creativity and latitude is expected in a professional setting.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Arlington, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $50.00/hr.
