Job Title: Recruiter

Job Description

The Recruiter I is responsible for recruiting, interviewing, checking references, making offers, and conducting orientation for new employees. Additionally, the role involves performing exit interviews and processing changes in employee status. The ideal candidate may have a bachelor's degree in a relevant area and 0-2 years of experience in the field or a related area. Familiarity with commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the recruitment field is essential. The Recruiter I will work under immediate supervision and typically report to a supervisor or manager.

Responsibilities

Recruit and interview potential candidates.Check references and extend job offers.Conduct orientation sessions for new employees.Perform exit interviews and process changes in employee status.Develop and execute sourcing strategies for active and passive talent.Support recruiting for government-cleared positions.Work with five different customers, managing roles that require Top Secret to Full Scope Poly clearances.Adapt to cleared and government recruiting environments.

Essential Skills

Experience in high volume recruiting.Ability to problem solve and build sourcing strategies.Experience supporting government-cleared recruiting is required.U.S. Citizenship is mandatory due to clearance requirements.Familiarity with ATS and talent acquisition.2+ years of recruiting and sourcing experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in the cleared space is preferred.Technical or niche recruiting experience is highly valued.1+ year of experience may be considered if the candidate holds an active cleared background.

Work Environment

This position is Onsite in Arlington, VA. The Recruiter I will initially support government-cleared work for the first 5-6 months, with the potential to transition to other workstreams. The work environment requires the ability to navigate within cleared and government recruiting settings. The role supports five different customers with a focus on Top Secret and TS SCI-level clearances.

This is a Contract position based out of Arlington, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $39.00/hr.
