Job Description The Recruiter I is responsible for recruiting, interviewing, checking references, making offers, and conducting orientation for new employees. The role also involves performing exit interviews and processing changes in employee status. This position may require a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 0-2 years of experience in recruiting or a related area. The Recruiter I relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions and works under immediate supervision, typically reporting to a supervisor or manager. Responsibilities + Operate as a Recruiter Business Partner (RBP) with a customer-facing and internal hiring focus. + Process offers, track acceptance, and handle internal transfers. + Maintain strong organizational skills to manage multiple roles across various sites. + Conduct proactive check-ins to avoid sudden surges in hiring demands. + Build trust with site leaders by being direct, professional, and responsive. + Utilize CTM systems and participate in necessary training. + Sort internal applicants by best fit and collaborate with hiring managers for top selections. + Conduct minimal offer negotiations and primarily focus on administrative tasks. Essential Skills + Recruiting and talent acquisition experience. + Proficiency in full cycle recruiting and applicant tracking systems (ATS). + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Organizational skills to manage high-volume and fast-paced environments. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience as a Recruiting Coordinator is beneficial. + Comfortable working with high volume and fast-paced environments. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $37.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
