Recruiter / HR Assistant
Description We are looking for a dedicated Recruiter / HR Assistant to join our team in Taylors, South Carolina. In this role, you will coordinate hiring efforts for our manufacturing plant, overseeing the recruitment process from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, helping us identify top talent and ensuring a seamless experience for new employees. Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain staffing plans in collaboration with the plant manager to meet hiring needs. • Source candidates for various roles within the structural plant, ensuring alignment with job requirements. • Build and manage relationships with staffing agencies, including evaluating their performance and providing feedback. • Oversee the recruitment funnel for open positions, including scheduling interviews and assessing candidate qualifications. • Prepare and communicate job offers, coordinate orientation schedules, and manage onboarding processes. • Ensure timely updates on candidate status and minimize delays in hiring and onboarding. • Streamline recruitment processes to optimize efficiency and improve the candidate experience. • Handle all communication with candidates, from initial contact to final disposition. • Assist the Human Resources Manager with additional tasks and responsibilities as needed. • Support training initiatives and provide one-on-one or group training sessions. Requirements • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred. • At least 3 years of experience in recruiting or human resources, with a preference for recruiting expertise. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. • Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive approach to connecting and communicating efficiently. • Supervisory experience or training is highly desired. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer software applications. • Demonstrated ability to teach and train individuals or groups. • Experience with applicant tracking systems and full-cycle recruiting processes.
