Job Description
This Recruiter role manages the full recruitment lifecycle for a fast-paced, entrepreneurial lending organization that offers residential mortgages, refinancing, and specialty loans. You will partner closely with hiring leaders to attract, assess, and hire top talent across sales, operations, underwriting, processing, and corporate functions. The role combines strategic sourcing, hands-on recruiting, and candidate experience management, while contributing directly to the growth of a high-performing, customer-focused mortgage team.
Responsibilities
+ Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination.
+ Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, business objectives, and ideal candidate profiles for each open role.
+ Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, networking, and proactive market outreach.
+ Recruit for a wide range of positions, including Loan Officers, Mortgage Sales Leaders, Operations, Underwriting, Processing, and Corporate roles.
+ Conduct phone and video interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, motivation, and cultural alignment.
+ Build, nurture, and maintain strong talent pipelines for current openings and anticipated future hiring needs.
+ Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and internal hiring policies throughout the recruitment process.
+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate documentation, notes, and status tracking within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
+ Provide hiring managers and leadership with market insights, including compensation trends and talent availability, to inform hiring decisions.
+ Deliver an exceptional, professional, and timely candidate experience that reflects the organization’s brand and values at every stage of the process.
Essential Skills
+ At least 2 years of experience recruiting for entry-level and sales-related roles, including positions that are commission-based.
+ Proven experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage candidates and requisitions.
+ Hands-on experience using LinkedIn Recruiter to source, engage, and manage candidates.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage full-cycle recruiting from intake through offer and onboarding coordination.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience recruiting in the mortgage industry is preferred.
+ Experience recruiting Loan Officers across the United States is preferred.
+ Familiarity with recruiting for roles such as Mortgage Sales Leaders, Operations, Underwriting, Processing, and Corporate positions.
+ Ability to provide data-driven market insights on compensation and talent availability.
+ Interest in ongoing coaching and continued training to refine recruiting skills.
+ Motivation to grow within an organization that rewards performance and supports career advancement.

This position is 100% in-office, Monday through Friday, within a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial lending environment. You will work closely with a knowledgeable team of experienced Loan Officers and an operations group that focuses on delivering competitive mortgage solutions. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesterfield, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $38.46/hr.
