Skilled Trades Recruiter Job Description We are seeking a hands-on Skilled Trades Recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, people-driven environment. This role requires understanding what it takes to recruit electricians, foremen, and construction leadership effectively in the real world. The ideal candidate is a full-cycle recruiter with experience in hiring skilled trades talent, partnering closely with hiring managers, and building trust with trade professionals. You will play a key role in developing recruiting processes, supporting onboarding, tracking recruiting metrics, and contributing to the smooth day-to-day operations of our Reno office. Responsibilities + Manage the full recruitment cycle from sourcing candidates to extending offers. + Partner with hiring managers and field leaders to align on hiring needs. + Build and maintain strong relationships with skilled trades professionals. + Develop and refine recruiting processes, including the creation of SOPs and workflows. + Track recruiting metrics and report on performance improvements. + Coordinate onboarding to ensure new hire readiness. + Promote job roles through social media and job advertising campaigns. + Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information. Essential Skills + Minimum of 2 years of experience recruiting for skilled trades or similar positions. + Proficient in full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and screening. + Strong communication skills for clear candidate and stakeholder interactions. + Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and time management skills. + Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field preferred. + Experience in the electrical construction industry is a plus. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. + Experience with office operations or facilities coordination. + Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The work environment is energetic and requires interaction with various personalities, maintaining solid working relationships with both skilled trade workers and hiring managers.
