Job Title: Recruiter, Commercial Functions Reports To: Director, Human Resources Location: Vernon Hills, IL Work Type: Hybrid (3 days in office) FLSA Status: Exempt Position Summary: The Recruiter, Commercial Functions is responsible for attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent across Antylia Scientific’s customer-facing and market-driven roles, including Sales, Business Development, Product Management, and Marketing. This role partners closely with hiring managers to understand evolving business priorities, designs proactive recruiting strategies, and delivers an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience. Key Responsibilities: + Owns full-cycle recruitment for commercial functions, from intake and sourcing to offer negotiation and closing. + Builds strong partnerships with hiring managers to understand team priorities, define talent profiles, and anticipate future hiring needs. + Develops innovative sourcing strategies to attract high-caliber commercial talent (active and passive) through direct outreach, social media, job boards, professional networks, and industry events. + Leverages knowledge of sales, marketing, and product management talent markets to advise hiring managers and influence selection decisions. + Screens and evaluates candidates beyond resumes to assess selling potential, market knowledge, business acumen, and culture fit. + Acts as a brand ambassador for Antylia Scientific, positioning the company as an employer of choice in the commercial and life sciences markets. + Tracks and analyzes recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, source effectiveness) to continuously refine recruiting strategies. + Partners with HR colleagues to align offers with compensation guidelines and ensure equity across teams. + Manages vendor and temporary staffing relationships where applicable. + Contributes to HR projects, process improvements, and initiatives to strengthen Antylia Scientific’s recruiting capabilities. + Performs other duties as assigned. Education: + Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communication, or related area or equivalent experience. Experience: + Requires 5+ years of experience in human resources that includes experiences in recruiting, screening, interviewing, and assisting in the development and implementation of proactive recruiting strategies. + Experience in life sciences industry strongly preferred. Qualifications: + Proven ability to source, attract, and close commercial talent in competitive markets. + Strong business acumen and ability to understand the skills and attributes that drive success in sales, marketing, and product roles. + Excellent influencing and consultative skills; able to build trust with hiring managers and candidates alike. + Adept at using social media platforms, Boolean searches, and other creative sourcing methods to engage passive talent. + Skilled in negotiation and closing, with the ability to position opportunities persuasively. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with applicant tracking systems preferred. + Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, efficiently works under pressures, within deadlines or other time essential constraints. + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly and concisely communicate to all levels of the organization. + Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization. + 5% travel required.
