We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruiter to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sourcing, recruiting and hiring top talent. The Recruiter will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process and fostering relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities:
Full-Cycle Recruitment: Coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process including posting jobs, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, checking references, and assisting with offer details. Use a variety of recruiting tools to identify and connect with candidates in the electrical or construction industry. Maintain candidate pipelines, provide timely updates to hiring managers, and ensure accurate data entry in the applicant tracking system.
Team Support & Onboarding: Work closely with the HR team to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to new hire. Participate in onboarding activities to provide a welcoming and organized new hire experience. Write, review, and update job descriptions to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with organizational needs. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
Hiring Manager & Candidate Communication: Build strong working relationships with hiring managers by providing regular updates and coordinating scheduling and communication throughout the hiring process. Ensure candidates have a positive experience by delivering timely, professional, and accurate information about IME and the position.
Candidate Experience & Brand Recognition: Support the candidate experience by helping ensure smooth communication, accurate information sharing, and positive engagement throughout the hiring process. Represent IME with professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
Recruiting Events & Programs: Assist in planning and supporting recruiting events and programs such as job fairs, career days, networking events and the summer internship program. Represent IME’s values and brand in interactions with candidates and the community.

What You'll Bring
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
+ Proven track record of sourcing, recruiting, and hiring top talent
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
+ Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and work well under pressure
+ Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
Demonstrated accomplishments in the following areas:
+ Familiarity with applicant tracking systems.
+ Experience in Microsoft Office suite.
+ Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Education & Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a combination of relevant experience
+ 3+ years of experience in recruiting, with a strong focus on the electrical or construction industry preferred
Working Conditions :
The majority of the time you will work in a typical office environment. Occasionally, you may travel to a construction job site. When on construction job sites you will encounter typical construction conditions including extreme temperatures, noise, dust, mud debris, welding, leading edge, trenching, and shoring, sometimes in a confined space. You may be required to visit multiple locations during any one day.
Benefits Overview:
IME provides an industry-leading comprehensive benefits package. Full-time employees are eligible to choose from a variety of healthcare coverage options, which become effective the first of the month after hire. In addition, employees are offered a substantial amount of PTO and are immediately eligible to make contributions to a generously matched and fully vested 401k.
Salary Range: $68,000 - $115,000
*Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.*

What You'll Get
Salary Range: $68,000 - $92,000
*Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.*

The anticipated compensation for this position is - depending on experience and qualifications.
