Job Title: Recruiter Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Recruiter to join our team. This role involves developing an understanding and awareness of the organization's talent strategy and applying this knowledge to influence staffing decisions. You will utilize your sourcing skills to find diverse talent, support diversity efforts, and advocate for candidates with transferable skills. The position requires translating business imperatives into sourcing strategies, leveraging technology to engage candidates, and participating in recruiting projects and networking events. Responsibilities + Develop an understanding of the organization's talent strategy and corporate business model related to talent needs. + Influence and advise hiring managers on staffing decisions by applying organizational knowledge. + Utilize sourcing skills to find and build diverse talent benches. + Support diversity efforts and integrate them into the staffing process to ensure diverse candidate slates and eliminate bias. + Advocate for candidates and encourage managers to consider internal candidates with transferable skills. + Translate business imperatives into sourcing strategies and create targeted talent pipelines for future needs. + Provide data to HR partners and hiring managers and collaborate on new approaches to meet recruiting goals. + Leverage applicant tracking systems, online recruiting sources, and social media tools to engage and hire candidates. + Participate in recruiting projects focused on workforce planning, hiring process improvement, and brand presence enhancement. + Successfully source and attract BIPOC talent with a focus on leadership roles. + Act as a brand ambassador and participate in networking events, community initiatives, job fairs, and professional associations. + Conduct phone screenings of candidates and update data in applicant tracking software. Essential Skills + 2+ years of related experience or a Bachelor's degree with 1 year of related experience. + Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and collaborate. + Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and social media channels. + Knowledge of federal and state employment laws, compensation, diversity, EEO, Affirmative Action, and ADA. + Data-driven mindset with the ability to present recommendations from analysis clearly and concisely. + Thirst for continuous learning and passion for recruiting and discovering new candidate channels. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office. + High school diploma (or equivalency) and legal authorization to work in the U.S. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree Work Environment The position offers a hybrid work environment, requiring 2 days a week in the office. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
