Description We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our team in Columbus, Ohio, on a long-term contract basis. This role involves supporting our Mortgage Sales Recruiting efforts, contributing to the expansion of our investment banking footprint, and playing a key role in a growing branch network initiative. Responsibilities:
• Build a deep understanding of the mortgage sales business segment to become a trusted recruitment partner.
• Develop and implement inclusive recruiting strategies in collaboration with leadership to effectively present the company’s story to prospective candidates.
• Utilize market insights and strong relationship-building skills to establish pipelines of top-tier investment banking talent.
• Source, assess, and attract candidates while evaluating their alignment with team dynamics and organizational goals.
• Deliver comprehensive evaluations of leading candidates, addressing strengths, weaknesses, and potential objections during the hiring process.
• Communicate effectively through strong verbal and written skills, ensuring professionalism in all interactions.
• Stay informed and compliant with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
• Leverage expertise in Office tools, internet resources, and Applicant Tracking Systems such as Workday to execute recruitment strategies.
• Champion the implementation of inclusion-focused approaches in sourcing and hiring.
• Provide leadership and guidance in navigating hiring processes and maintaining recruitment best practices. Requirements • At least four years of experience in sourcing and full-cycle recruiting, particularly for Mortgage Sales roles.
• Proven expertise in recruiting strategies, talent acquisition, and market intelligence.
• Proficiency in utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems like Workday and other internet-based research tools.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a detail-oriented demeanor.
• Bachelor’s degree or, alternatively, eight years of full-cycle recruiting experience in relevant disciplines.
• Demonstrated ability to manage recruitment strategies with a focus on diversity and inclusion.
• Familiarity with the mortgage banking industry and related hiring processes. TalentMatch®
