Job Title: Executive Recruiter (Recruiter 4)

Job Description

This Executive Recruiter role offers the opportunity to join a dynamic, high-performing talent acquisition team focused on senior-level hiring across the United States. You will manage the full executive recruiting lifecycle, provide a high-touch and professional candidate experience, and partner closely with senior stakeholders across multiple business lines. This is a hybrid position with a strong preference for candidates based near Chicago or Dallas, with potential consideration for Atlanta, and is initially structured as a three-month assignment with the intent to convert to a permanent role.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the full executive recruiting lifecycle for senior-level roles, including sourcing, cold calling, screening, interviewing, obtaining referrals, counseling candidates, negotiating offers, and closing searches.Create an exceptional, high-touch experience for executive-level candidates, ensuring professional and timely communication at every stage of the process.Develop and execute targeted recruitment strategies for a variety of executive-level positions across professional services and related business lines.Manage approximately 10–15 executive requisitions at any given time, with a focus on internal talent and recurring or consistent roles.Negotiate hiring terms and lead discussions around total rewards packages, ensuring alignment with both candidate expectations and organizational guidelines.Form strong, trust-based relationships with prospective candidates and build enduring partnerships with senior business stakeholders and hiring managers.Collaborate with HR Business Partners and business unit leaders to create robust job profiles and scorecards that clearly define role expectations and success criteria.Leverage assessment tools and structured evaluation methods to support high-quality hiring decisions and future talent planning.Utilize internet sourcing, employee referrals, cold calling, networking, and other creative methods to identify and engage qualified and diverse executive-level candidates.Proactively develop new sourcing channels and maintain a warm bench of executive talent for current and future hiring needs.Lead candidate debrief and regroup sessions with senior-level stakeholders to align on feedback, next steps, and hiring decisions.Embed purpose-driven and brand-aligned messages into the recruiting experience to effectively market the organization and its opportunities.Leverage technology, including applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools, to drive efficiency, consistency, and simplification in the recruitment process.Partner with colleagues on the executive recruiting team to provide overflow support and ensure seamless coverage across U.S. professional services and other business lines.Operate with a sales-oriented mindset, effectively articulating the organization’s vision and value proposition to attract top executive talent.Maintain strong organizational practices and documentation within ATS and CRM systems to ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and compliance.

Essential Skills

Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of recruitment experience, with a strong focus on professional or senior-level roles.Prior executive recruiting experience, with the ability to quickly step into an existing requisition load and deliver results.Proven experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.Experience using applicant tracking and CRM systems, with specific exposure to Workday strongly preferred.Demonstrated ability to establish strong relationships and influence senior stakeholders across an organization.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a polished and professional executive presence.Demonstrated commitment to providing high-touch service to executive-level hiring managers and candidates.Tech-savvy approach to recruiting, leveraging digital tools and platforms to work efficiently and effectively.Strong organizational skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and delivering consistent recruiting results.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, managing multiple searches and priorities simultaneously.Core expertise in talent acquisition and recruiting, particularly for senior and executive-level positions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Prior experience in an executive search firm or similar search environment is a strong plus.Experience recruiting within consulting, financial services, or commercial real estate sectors is highly desirable.Background or exposure to tech sales recruiting is a plus and will be valued in candidate profiles.Experience with additional recruiting technologies such as HireScore and Paradox is advantageous.Familiarity with Avature or similar CRM systems is considered a plus.Comfort working with internal talent pipelines and recurring or consistent executive-level roles.Ability to embed purpose-driven messaging and employer brand themes into candidate interactions.Sales-oriented mindset, with the ability to persuasively communicate the organization’s mission and long-term vision.High level of professionalism, discretion, and judgment when dealing with senior leaders and confidential information.

Work Environment

This role is structured as a hybrid position, with an expectation of working in a local office three days per week once fully established in the role. Locations near Chicago or Dallas are highly preferred, with potential consideration for Atlanta. There is some flexibility in in-office presence during the initial assignment, but a three-day in-office schedule is required if the role converts to a full-time position. You will join a collaborative executive recruiting team that currently supports U.S. professional services and senior-level hiring across multiple business lines. The environment is fast-paced and matrixed, with frequent interaction with senior leaders and cross-functional partners. You will use modern recruiting technologies, including Workday ATS and other tools such as HireScore, Paradox, and CRM platforms, to manage requisitions and candidate pipelines. The role initially begins as a three-month assignment with the intent to convert to a longer-term or permanent opportunity, offering exposure to high-impact executive searches and a professional, business-oriented office setting where polished, business-appropriate attire is expected.

This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $58.00/hr.
