Job Description
The Corporate Recruiter plays a key role in supporting the growth of a dynamic energy-focused manufacturing division by leading full-cycle recruitment for both operational and corporate roles. This contract position is based near Sparks/Reno, NV, with an onsite presence required 2–3 days per week, and focuses on hiring across functions such as Finance, Procurement, Human Resources, Production, Environmental Health & Safety, IT, and Engineering. You will partner closely with business leaders to design and execute effective recruiting strategies, build strong talent pipelines, and ensure an outstanding experience for candidates and hiring managers.
Responsibilities
+ Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand operational and corporate hiring needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
+ Manage full-cycle recruiting from intake meetings and job scoping through offer negotiation and onboarding for a variety of roles, including supervisory and management-level positions.
+ Write and refine job descriptions that accurately reflect role requirements and attract qualified candidates.
+ Screen resumes and conduct phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and fit.
+ Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to identify exceptional candidates, including leveraging web, social media, and professional networks.
+ Facilitate all aspects of the interview process, including scheduling, coordinating interview panels, and supporting candidate selection decisions.
+ Participate in and help plan networking, recruiting, and hiring events to increase brand awareness and attract talent.
+ Meet and track goals related to key staffing metrics such as time-to-fill, recruitment strategy effectiveness, and new hire success.
+ Support equal employment opportunity and diversity initiatives, ensuring accurate reporting and tracking of required candidate data.
+ Develop and maintain strong networking relationships with community organizations, colleges and universities, alumni groups, industry associations, employees, and colleagues to build robust talent pipelines.
+ Create and maintain proactive talent pipeline strategies for current and future hiring needs in manufacturing and corporate functions.
+ Provide a high-quality experience to candidates and hiring managers through timely communication, clear expectations, and professional service.
+ Ensure all recruiting and hiring practices comply with applicable local, state, and federal employment laws.
+ Provide input on process improvement opportunities within the recruitment function and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Collaborate closely with a blended onsite and remote recruitment team to share best practices and support team goals.
+ Perform other related recruiting and talent acquisition duties as required to support the growth of the energy division.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 5 years of corporate-level recruiting experience.
+ Demonstrated experience recruiting for supervisory and management-level roles in areas such as Human Resources, Information Technology, Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Production, and other manufacturing-related functions.
+ Experience in manufacturing recruitment, particularly for technical and operational, exempt positions.
+ Proven ability to source candidates through multiple channels, including web-based tools, social media, and professional networks.
+ Established and maintained broad networks of professional relationships for talent sourcing.
+ Experience with high-volume recruiting for technical or operational roles.
+ Demonstrated track record of attracting, sourcing, and selecting top talent.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with candidates and stakeholders.
+ Strong organizational skills and diligence, with a self-starter mentality and strong work ethic.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
+ Working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking.
+ Basic education requirement of a high school diploma or GED.

+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience is preferred.

Work Environment
This is a contract position based in the Sparks/Reno, NV area, with an expectation to work onsite 2–3 days per week and standard full-time hours of approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PST, totaling around 40 hours per week. You will be part of a recruitment team consisting of three onsite and four remote team members, collaborating closely to support the growth of an energy-focused manufacturing division. The environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a strong focus on continuous improvement, teamwork, and cross-functional collaboration with corporate and manufacturing stakeholders. For some roles within the broader organization, personal protective equipment (PPE) such as Tyvek suits, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face masks, bump caps, or full hazmat suits with respirators may be required in designated areas to ensure health and safety; as a recruiter, you may occasionally visit these areas and must follow all site safety and PPE guidelines when doing so. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.93 - $36.00/hr.
