Job Title: Sr Technical Recruiter
Job Description
This role focuses on full life cycle technical recruiting for software development engineers supporting cloud storage and analytics teams. You will partner closely with hiring stakeholders to source, engage, and hire SDE2 and SDE3 talent, with a strong emphasis on proactive sourcing, candidate management, and data-driven recruiting practices within a fast-paced, competitive environment.
Responsibilities
Lead full life cycle recruiting for technical roles, with a primary focus on Software Development Engineer positions supporting cloud storage and analytics teams.Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify and engage high-caliber technical talent for cloud storage (such as S3) and analytics-related engineering teams.Manage and prioritize multiple concurrent searches, projects, and internal client relationships while maintaining a high standard of service and responsiveness.Build and drive talent sourcing initiatives, including proactive outreach, networking, and use of diverse sourcing channels to create strong candidate pipelines.Leverage applicant tracking systems, resume databases, internet sourcing tools, and complex spreadsheets to track candidates, analyze pipelines, and report recruiting metrics.Collaborate closely with hiring leaders and talent acquisition partners to understand role requirements, define search strategies, and refine profiles based on market feedback.Manage the end-to-end candidate experience, including screening, interview coordination, feedback collection, offer support, and ongoing communication throughout the process.Promote the employer brand in the marketplace by effectively articulating the value proposition and career opportunities to prospective candidates.Ensure all recruiting activities align with internal policies and processes while operating within a highly competitive yet structured team environment.Continuously seek new sourcing options and develop creative approaches to attract and deliver qualified candidates in a competitive technical talent market.Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in recruiting processes, tools, and practices, including cost-conscious approaches to sourcing and hiring.Communicate clearly, confidently, and concisely with colleagues and stakeholders, providing regular updates on search progress, challenges, and recommendations.Essential Skills
3+ years of corporate and/or agency technical recruiting experience, including sourcing and full life cycle recruiting.Recent technical sourcing experience, with strong preference for experience sourcing Software Development Engineers (SDE).Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple searches, projects, and client relationships in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated experience building and driving talent sourcing initiatives for technical roles.Hands-on experience with recruiting and people-related tools and systems, including applicant tracking systems, resume databases, internet sourcing tools, and complex spreadsheets.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and concisely with colleagues and stakeholders.Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools, processes, and hiring needs.Consistently positive attitude and the ability to act as a positive influence within a competitive team environment.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related productivity tools.Knoweledge as a full life cycle recruiter or recruiter focused on technical hiring.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.7+ years of corporate and/or agency technical recruiting experience, including sourcing and full life cycle recruiting, is highly desirable.Recent experience in corporate and/or agency technical recruiting environments, ideally with a strong focus on SDE roles.Client-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement in recruiting practices and outcomes.Ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.Track record of pursuing cost-conscious recruiting strategies while maintaining quality of hire.Strong organizational and negotiation skills with a keen focus on delivering measurable business results.Ability to execute comprehensive recruiting strategies, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process management.Self-sufficient working style with the ability to operate effectively with minimal direct supervision.Comfort working in a competitive team environment while adhering to established policies and processes.Work Environment
The work environment is casual and collaborative, balancing open teamwork with focused, heads-down recruiting work. You will sit in close proximity to talent acquisition leadership, enabling frequent interaction and quick alignment on hiring priorities. The team operates in a highly competitive atmosphere that values drive, performance, and adherence to established recruiting policies and processes. Work is technology-driven, leveraging applicant tracking systems, resume databases, internet sourcing tools, Microsoft Office, and complex spreadsheets to manage searches and track results. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $52.00/hr.
