Recruiter 12 month FTC

As a recruiter you will be responsible for managing end-to-end hiring processes (internal & external hiring demand). As a key partner to hiring managers and your wider People colleagues, this role focuses on driving full-cycle recruitment, shaping hiring strategies, and delivering an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience.  Although this is an individual contributor role, it requires a high level of ownership and partnership across teams. As a recruiter you will be responsible for managing end-to-end hiring processes across the UK & EU. 

Key Skills & Competencies:

Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment technology 

(e.g. SAP, Oracle, LinkedIn Recruiter).

Full lifecycle recruiting experience, including sourcing, interviewing, and closing candidates.

Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to prioritise and manage multiple roles and projects simultaneously.

Proactive problem-solving mindset with a focus on solutions and outcomes.

High attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.

Understanding of talent markets, sourcing tools, and hiring trends.

Commitment to delivering an inclusive and equitable hiring process.

We would love you to have:

Solid talent acquisition/recruiting experience, preferably in matrix organisation.

Proven track record of hiring for a variety of roles including corporate function and volume hiring.

Application Information: 

This position is based in Dunton, it is expected the successful candidate will be able to attend for typically 4 days a week and remain flexible on the days they are required to attend the office according to business requirements. 

Education is important to us; ideally, you’ll have a degree but if that’s not the case and you have extensive experience/skills you feel are relevant and beneficial to the role, we are open to discussing your suitability @ ukhire1@ford.com.

Full-Cycle Recruitment & Delivery

Own and manage the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned roles, from sourcing to offer negotiation and onboarding handoff.

Partner closely with hiring managers to deeply understand team needs, role requirements, and candidate profiles.

Execute tailored sourcing strategies to attract top talent, including proactive outreach and pipeline building.

Conduct candidate screenings, manage interview processes, and guide hiring teams on best practices for selection.

Ensure timely and effective communication with candidates, delivering a high-quality candidate experience.

Stakeholder & Hiring Manager Partnership

Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing market insights, talent availability data, and guidance on hiring decisions.

Consult with hiring teams on interview planning, role scoping, and offer strategy to drive alignment and efficiency.

Process Optimisation & Employer Branding

Continuously contribute to identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, fairness, and candidate experience.

Uphold and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) principles in hiring strategies and practices.

Contribute to employer branding initiatives through candidate interactions and partnership with marketing/communications teams.

Recruitment Operations & Reporting

Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

Ensure compliance with hiring policies, labour laws, and data protection regulations.
