PACU RN – Recovery with Heart, Teamwork, and Purpose
We’re looking for a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) RN who brings both clinical expertise and a calming presence to patients emerging from surgery. If you’re passionate about delivering safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment where no two recoveries are the same, you’ll thrive here.
Why This Role?
As a PACU nurse, you’ll be the first face patients see after surgery—monitoring vital signs, managing pain, and reassuring loved ones—all while collaborating with a tight-knit surgical team. It’s an essential role with meaningful impact every shift.
What You'll Do:
Assess physical, emotional, and educational needs as patients transition from anesthesia to recovery
Develop and adapt individualized care plans using strong clinical judgment
Monitor post-op conditions, respond quickly to changes, and ensure safe discharges
Educate and support patients and families with clarity and compassion
Communicate clearly with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow nurses to coordinate care
Stay flexible to support department needs and adapt to evolving healthcare technologies
Participate in meetings, trainings, and continuous learning opportunities to grow in your role
What You’ll Love:
A supportive, skilled team that values collaboration and shared success
A fast-paced environment that sharpens your critical thinking skills
Opportunities to cross-train and support multiple units as needed
A culture that values adaptability, teamwork, and professional growth
If you’re calm under pressure, confident in your clinical skills, and thrive in a recovery-focused environment—we’d love to meet you.
