The Opportunity:
Key Responsibilities
As TR accountant:
Execute the day-to-day activities according to the agreed service level and in compliance with the SOPs of the respective business sub-process
Follow the instructions regarding the daily work coordination
Propose process and system improvements
Contribute continuously to the improvement of the performance of the SSC
Accountabilities
Perform daily bank postings, interface controls, manual corrections, and reconcile bank and suspense balance sheet accounts, including clearings and treasury transactions.
Conduct cash flow analysis, manage loans and investments, and handle intercompany reconciliation and reporting.
Post general ledger (GL) journals and support other reporting activities.
Manage incoming calls and emails promptly, follow up on open items and missing entries, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Collaborate proactively across countries and functions to improve team cooperation and performance; support teammates with workload or expertise gaps.
Promote a positive team environment by encouraging open communication and mutual support.
Adapt to business needs by performing cross-functional or cross-geographic assignments as required.
Participate actively in meetings, workshops, and team events, maintaining high integrity and adherence to Roche guidelines.
Who you are:
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related area.
3+ years in Finance and accounting experience
A solid understanding of accounting processes.
Knowledge of applications in a computerized environment, including spreadsheets applications, and databases (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, G-Suite, etc.)
Knowledge of Finance Shared Services and operational accounting processes and related technology systems (e.g. SAP, BlackLine, SNOW etc.) is desired.
Strong ability to prioritize and organize work effectively, adhere to tight and established deadlines
Effective written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service.
Ability to perform work with limited direction and guidance.
Ability to prioritize effectively and multitask, meet all deadlines and manage up.
Works well with others and follow through to execute all tasks.
Language: English & Spanish required.
