About the Role

DB Breweries is seeking a Record to Report – Accountant to manage intercompany reconciliations for DB Group, monthly financial reporting for our Australian entities and preparation of statutory accounts for one entity.  The role requires a meticulous accountant who has worked within a medium to large complex business environment. 

 

Key Accountabilities: 

Monthly financial reporting in CIL (Heineken reporting tool) for two Australian entities. Responsible for close off, of the general ledger in SAP for the Australian entities. Completion of all intercompany reconciliations (from Heimatch to SAP) Calculate and communicate the royalties due to and from other Heineken operating companies.  Backing up the Senior accountant for maintaining the SAP hierarchies, general ledger accounts and cost centres to ensure they are aligned to global standards. Complete the monthly GST returns, and quarterly FBT returns for review by the tax accountant. Assisting with the year- end external audit, including the preparation of statutory accounts for DBG Limited. Responsible for driving financial reporting and global alignment across DB Breweries. 

 

Your background and experience: 

CA qualified/part qualified (or equivalent) with a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles. Understanding of ERP systems, preferably SAP. Proficient in MS Excel and other other Microsoft Office applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail. Must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
