**Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Compression Operator to join their team.** As a Compression Operator, you will be part of the production department, playing a key role in transforming granulated materials into high-quality tablets. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, a strong focus on quality, and a commitment to safety, aligning successfully with the organization. **Job Title:** **Compression Operator** **Location:** Salt Lake City, UT **Pay Range:** $20 per hour **Shifts:** 12-hour shifts, first week Friday - Sunday ; next week Thursday - Sunday 4am - 430 pm **What’s the Job?** + Setting up and operating tablet compression machines per batch records and SOPs. + Adjusting tablet parameters such as weight, hardness, and thickness to meet specifications. + Performing in-process quality checks including weight, thickness, hardness, and friability. + Conducting equipment cleaning and changeovers between batches following GMP standards. + Supporting compression testing to ensure tablet integrity and durability. + Troubleshooting minor mechanical issues and maintaining a clean work environment. **What’s Needed?** + Prior experience in manufacturing or production, preferably in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or food industries. + Familiarity with GMP and SOP-driven environments. + Mechanical aptitude for setting up and troubleshooting tablet presses. + Understanding of compression tooling and tablet quality parameters. + Experience or ability to perform compression testing. + Technically inclined with basic computer skills and troubleshooting ability. + Ability to follow specific directions and escalate issues when necessary. + Physically capable of lifting or moving up to 50 lbs using equipment like pallet jacks. + Strong attention to detail, safety, and documentation accuracy. **What’s in it for Me?** + Opportunity to work in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment. + Gain valuable experience in pharmaceutical-grade tablet production. + Collaborate with a team of skilled professionals. + Potential for career growth and advancement. + Contribute to the production of high-quality consumer health products.
