Receptionist Intermediate (3-6 years)
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist with 3-6 years of experience to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia. In this long-term contract role, you will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This position is ideal for a candidate who excels in customer service, multitasking, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Responsibilities: • Greet visitors and staff warmly while managing front desk operations efficiently. • Handle incoming calls using a multi-line phone system, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments. • Manage meeting room reservations, catering arrangements, and audio-visual setups to support seamless events. • Maintain accurate data entry records and oversee facility supply inventory. • Coordinate with external partners and vendors to ensure timely service delivery. • Monitor security protocols by managing visitor logs and ensuring compliance with facility policies. • Take and relay messages promptly, ensuring clear communication among team members. • Support office operations by performing receptionist duties such as mail distribution and clerical tasks. • Ensure the reception area remains organized and presentable at all times. • Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed to support the team. Requirements • Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in a receptionist or similar role. • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and staff. • Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and reservation systems. • Familiarity with audio-visual equipment and event coordination. • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment. • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. • Knowledge of security protocols and facility management best practices. • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
