Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Receptionist to manage front desk responsibilities for two companies operating from the same location. The ideal candidate will exude a positive attitude, enjoy helping people, and be attentive to detail, ensuring the smooth operation of the office.
Responsibilities
+ Professionally answer and transfer calls for two companies.
+ Assist and greet visitors with a welcoming demeanor.
+ Reconcile invoices for office supplies, first aid kit refills, and vending machine maintenance.
+ Purchase monthly bus passes for field workers.
+ Order and organize office supplies, ensuring the supply rooms are well-maintained.
+ Send out packages via UPS and maintain a package log, notifying recipients upon package arrival.
+ Assist with various tasks as needed, including preparing invites and gifts for company events.
Essential Skills
+ At least 2 years of office experience or a relevant degree.
+ Strong customer service and receptionist skills.
+ High attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Positive, outgoing personality with a host mentality.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in the construction industry is preferred.
Work Environment
The position requires working from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute scheduled breaks (one in the morning and one in the afternoon). Business dress attire is expected as the receptionist represents the company.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
