Receptionist
Description We are seeking a personable, customer-focused Receptionist to be the first point of contact for customers by phone and in person. This role will handle a high volume of incoming calls, process customer payments over the phone and at the front counter, and support basic office administration such as filing and record organization. Key Responsibilities Answer and route a high volume of incoming calls, providing friendly, professional customer service. Take and process payments over the phone and in person at the counter; provide receipts and ensure accurate documentation. Maintain accurate customer records and support office organization through filing and document management (paper and/or electronic). Assist customers with general questions, directing inquiries to the appropriate team members as needed. Support day-to-day front office needs including scanning, copying, data entry, and general administrative tasks. Prior cashiering/payment processing experience (phone and/or in-person transactions). Strong customer service skills: professional communication, patience, and ability to stay calm under pressure. Solid computer skills and comfort using standard office systems (email, scheduling, spreadsheets, basic data entry). Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred, but not required. Experience working in a customer service environment with high call volume. Experience Level Entry Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oakdale, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
