We are seeking a full-time receptionist who will be the welcoming face of our organization, responsible for greeting and maintaining a log of visitors, managing package receiving, and assisting with incoming mail. The individual will keep the reception area neat and orderly and assist with various administrative duties as assigned while adhering to company policies and procedures. The role involves checking in internal employees and customers and rarely handling external phone calls.
ResponsibilitiesRepresent a positive image of our company.Manage the company’s lobby area.Greet and direct all visitors, including vendors, clients, job candidates, and customers.Assist the Office Manager with special administrative projects.Provide solutions to customer service issues.Quickly and accurately deal with problems that may arise.Perform data entry tasks.Ability to work 40 hours weekly.Essential SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word - basic/intermediate).1-3 years of customer service or clerical experience, which can include retail.Positive and friendly disposition.Professionalism.Reliability, punctuality, and commitment.Strong communication skills.Self-motivation.Ability to multitask.Must have education verification document (diploma or transcript).Additional Skills & QualificationsReceptionist or administrative experience.Associates or Bachelor's degree.Work EnvironmentThe work environment is business casual. The position is on-site and requires the candidate to be in the office Monday through Friday with no exceptions. The individual must be able to work independently as they will be the sole person at reception most of the time. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
