We’re seeking a Receptionist who will serve as the face and voice of our organization—greeting visitors, supporting employees, and ensuring our front desk and office run efficiently. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining a polished, professional atmosphere while assisting multiple departments with reporting, scheduling, and administrative tasks.
What You’ll DoAs our Receptionist, you will:
Welcome and check in all visitors, vendors, and employees while ensuring compliance with building access and security procedures.Answer, screen, and route phone calls with professionalism and a helpful attitude.Maintain accurate visitor logs and ensure the lobby area remains tidy, organized, and inviting.Coordinate conference room scheduling, setup, and breakdown—including seating arrangements, technology needs, and supplies.Order lunches, catering, and meeting support services as needed.Prepare and maintain Microsoft Excel reports, including data entry, updates, and basic analysis for multiple departments.Provide administrative assistance and support for ad hoc projects across internal teams.Communicate effectively with colleagues to support seamless daily office operations.Monitor front desk activity to ensure a secure, efficient, and professional environment.Take on additional duties as assigned to support overall office functionality.What You BringStrong administrative and organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, tracking, basic reporting).Experience producing administrative reports and supporting multiple departments.3+ years of administrative experience in a professional setting.Preferred QualificationsCollege degree (Associate or Bachelor’s).Work EnvironmentFront desk, independent working environment.Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM (firm hours).Interacts daily with employees, leadership, and external visitors.Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blauvelt, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
