Job Title: ReceptionistJob Description The role of a receptionist is primarily focused on interacting with customers to provide information about products and services, as well as to handle and resolve complaints. The position involves determining clients' issues, offering possible solutions, and providing follow-up as needed. Responsibilities may include both inbound and outbound customer service tasks. Responsibilities + Resolve customer service or billing complaints by exchanging merchandise, refunding money, and adjusting bills. + Contact customers to respond to inquiries or notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments. + Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation. + Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken. Essential Skills + Customer service skills + Experience with inbound and outbound calls + Phone experience + Proficiency in computer skills + Data entry + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Additional Skills & Qualifications + Verbal and written communication skills + Attention to detail + Interpersonal skills + Ability to work independently and manage time effectively + Experience with MS Outlook or data entry software + High school diploma or GED preferred + 0-2 years of customer service-related experience Work Environment This role is based in an office environment with a new schedule from 2pm to 10:30pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Portland, Oregon. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
