Job Description
A well-established small business in the maritime engineering and design industry located in Boston, MA is seeking a full-time Receptionist/Travel Manager to join its growing team. This role involves working in-office and offers potential for advancement within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a pleasant, upbeat demeanor and a flexible attitude.
ResponsibilitiesManage multi-line phone system, answering and routing calls professionally.Greet visitors and maintain the visitor log.Track employee absences and maintain attendance records.Schedule meetings and assist with event planning.Coordinate with property management and other office locations.Handle office supply inventory, organization, and purchasing.Manage shipping and receiving operations.Arrange travel for employees across various locations.Create detailed itineraries and Department of Defense (DOD) compliant travel order forms.Process completed travel documentation and summarize costs with receipts for the accounting department.Essential SkillsStrong multitasking abilities.Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in administrative support or travel coordination preferred.Proficiency in office management, Excel, customer service, front desk, and Microsoft Office.Work Environment
The work environment is based in-office in Boston, MA. The role involves collaboration with various departments and requires coordination with property management and other office locations. Professional attire is expected as you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
