Description We are looking for a meticulous and personable Receptionist to join our team in Charleston, South Carolina. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment. Responsibilities: • Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a warm and attentive welcome to the office. • Answer and manage inbound calls using a multi-line phone system, directing them to the appropriate departments or individuals. • Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and presentable at all times. • Handle inquiries from callers and visitors with professionalism and efficiency. • Operate a phone switchboard system to manage multiple lines effectively. • Provide administrative support to staff as needed, including scheduling and document management. • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and packages. • Maintain accurate records of visitor logs and phone call details. • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication and operations. • Uphold courteous phone etiquette and customer service standards at all times. Requirements • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role, preferably within detail-oriented environments. • Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and switchboard operations. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Familiarity with basic administrative tasks, including scheduling and record-keeping. • A detail-oriented demeanor and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. • Competence with standard office equipment and software applications.
