Description
We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist to join our growing construction company. As the first point of contact for all visitors, callers, and clients, the Receptionist will play an integral role in providing a positive and efficient experience for those interacting with our company. This role will involve performing various office tasks, managing the front desk, and supporting the day-to-day operations of our construction team. WKey Responsibilities:
+ Greet and direct visitors, clients, contractors, and delivery personnel in a courteous and professional manner
+ Answer and manage incoming calls, routing them to the appropriate department or personnel
+ Take accurate messages and ensure timely follow-up with the appropriate staff
+ Assist with managing the office calendar, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings for team members
+ Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and packages
+ Maintain an organized and welcoming front office area
+ Provide general information to visitors about the company’s services and projects
+ Perform administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and document preparation
+ Support the construction team with coordination of meetings and project documentation
+ Assist with tracking office supplies and maintaining inventory
+ Ensure safety and security protocols are followed by all visitors and staff
+ Help with other office-related tasks as needed
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
+ 1-2 years of previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in construction or a related field
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, contractors, and staff
+ Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
+ Experience with basic office equipment (phone systems, fax, photocopiers, etc.)
+ Strong customer service orientation and professionalism
+ Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
+ Interest or background in construction industry is a plus
