The Opportunity:
CACI is looking for an energetic, polished, and thoughtful Reception and Administrative Coordinator to support the Maritime Industrial Base (MIB) Program in SE Washington, DC. As the first face people see when entering the office, this individual plays a key role in shaping a welcoming and professional experience for visitors, senior DoD officials, industry partners, and staff. This is more than a front desk position—it’s an opportunity to support mission-critical work by ensuring smooth daily operations and high-touch service at the heart of the program’s headquarters.
This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position located at the Maritime Industrial Base Program Offices in Navy Yard, Washington, DC.
Responsibilities:
Reception and Visitor Management:
Greet all visitors and employees with professionalism and warmth.
Manage the check-in process and maintain accurate access records.
Coordinate with building security, internal teams, and the Facility Security Officer to ensure proper access for guests and new employees.
Issue and retrieve visitor badges in alignment with security protocols.
Answer and route phone calls; take detailed messages when needed.
Keep the front desk and lobby clean, orderly, and well-stocked.
Conference Room Coordination:
Maintain conference room calendars and assist with scheduling.
Set up and break down meeting rooms, ensuring they are clean, functional, and equipped with necessary supplies.
Support hybrid and in-person meetings by preparing signage, refreshments, and A/V equipment.
Act as a point of contact for light on-site meeting troubleshooting.
Administrative and Office Support:
Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries.
Monitor and track office supplies; communicate restocking needs to designated staff.
Provide light administrative assistance such as document printing, scanning, and file organization.
Partner with facilities and building management for basic maintenance and service needs.
Qualifications:
Required:
Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience, and
3+ years of experience in a receptionist, administrative assistant, or front office role.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance.
Desired:
Secret clearance preferred.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Strong sense of professionalism, tact, and discretion—especially when interacting with senior leaders and military personnel.
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
Ability to work independently, problem-solve on the fly, and bring positive energy to a fast-paced environment.
Ability to remain seated at a desk or reception station for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds (e.g., small supply boxes or event materials).

The proposed salary range for this position is:
