BAE Systems is looking for a self-motivating Incoming Inspector to join their exciting team in Manassas, VA. The Incoming Inspector will report to the Supplier Quality Manager and perform the following tasks: Inspection of Mechanical assemblies Inspection of Printed Circuit Boards in accordance with IPC 600 & 610 Inspection of Circuit Card assemblies in accordance with IPC 610 Perform X-Ray Florescence testing of materials and interpret results Review of conformance and traceability documentation Entry of all information in the Quality Management System Database TipQA This role will be performed full-time onsite because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular job. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + High school diploma or GED + 0-3 years inspection experience, 1-3 years preferred + Ability to read, interpret and inspect technical specifications and engineering drawings + Ability to read and understand military standards, process sheets and other documentation related to the inspection of printed wiring boards, electrical and mechanical piece parts and assemblies. + Proficient in the use of mechanical inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and go/no go gauges + Proficient computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office products Candidate must be able to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills and work with a multidisciplinary team **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Certified in IPC 600 and IPC-A-610 + Strong computer skills + Microsoft Office and paperless Quality Management System software (such as TipQA, Net-Inspect, etc.) + Ability to conduct preliminary review of technical data supplied with hardware shipments + Ability to use XRF equipment and interpret results + 5-8 years inspection experience with the ability to read, interpret and inspect technical part drawings, military standards, process sheets and other documentation related to the inspection of printed wiring boards, electrical and mechanical piece parts and assemblies. **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $46680 - $74687 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
