Job Description

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a talented Receiving Inspector to join our team in Sierra Vista, AZ in the Aircraft Solutions Operating Unit supporting the NATO AGS program and ensuring Quality Products are delivered to our customer. 

The selected candidates will perform the following:

Perform inspection activities including but not limited to Receiving Inspection, Source Inspection, Virtual/Desktop Inspection, using calibrated tooling, drawings, specifications and engineering data to determine acceptability of products to contract and Northrop Grumman requirements.Interacts with internal and external customers on issues requiring coordination between organizations in a professional manner.Strong communication skills (both oral and written), and organizational skills. Must work well in a team setting.  Have strong attention to detail and work with an appropriate sense of urgency.

Qualifications

Receiving Inspector 2

High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and related experienceFamiliarity with inspection tooling such as micrometers, calipers and height gauges.Experience with ANSI Y14.5 drawing interpretation.Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.Must have an active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with ISO9001, AS9100 audits and principles.Experience using S4 ERP system.Experience in Root Cause Analysis.Experience with the following airframes is desired: Global Hawk or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles.Awareness of or trained to IPC 620 and or J-STD-001.

Primary Level Salary Range: $43,100.00 - $71,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
