We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable **Receiving Clerk / Store Assistant** to support our warehouse and inventory operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming goods, ensuring inventory accuracy, and assisting with general storekeeping duties. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY: + Receive and inspect all incoming shipments for accuracy and quality. + Verify items received against purchase orders, delivery notes, or invoices. + Record and report any discrepancies or damaged goods to the supervisor. + Label and store items in designated storage areas. + Maintain organized and clean storage areas in accordance with safety and housekeeping standards. + Assist in inventory control, including regular stock counts and cycle counts. + Prepare goods for dispatch or internal distribution as required. + Operate forklifts or pallet jacks, if certified. + Update inventory management systems or stock records accurately and timely. + Assist colleagues and other departments with locating and retrieving stock items. + Follow all company policies and safety procedures. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU: + High school diploma or equivalent. + Proven experience in a warehouse, receiving, or store assistant role (preferred). + Basic computer skills; familiarity with inventory or ERP systems is a plus. + Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy. + Good communication and teamwork skills.
