Receiving Clerk I

**Dixie Chopper (a member of** **_Alamo Group Inc_** **.) is currently accepting applications to fill the position of Receiving Clerk I.**
The **Receiving Clerk** is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, inventory control, and data entry. This role requires physical activity, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The receiving clerk will ensure all inbound materials are properly handled, documented, and stored. The receiving clerk will also assist in other inventory-related duties as assigned.
**Essential Functions of the Job:**
Performs all duties encompassed by a Shipping Clerk I as follows:
+ Follow all company and departmental safety protocols, including proper use of PPE
+ Maintain a clean and organized work environment
+ Receive inbound products and determine appropriate routes to the Production or Parts Department
+ Transport inbound parts to warehouse and stock using RF scan gun
+ Accurately enter inventory into software systems
+ Process configurator work orders, ensuring correct inventory application and serial number tracking
+ Participate in parts consolidation efforts
+ Pull documentation for audits, customer service, and internal department requests
+ Crosstrain in RMA (Return Material Authorization) processes: print RMAs, update software, and stock returned parts
+ Assist with picking parts and line stocking when required
+ Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA's):**
+ Knowledge of warehouse software and inventory systems preferred
+ Data entry and basic computer skills essential
+ Strong organizational and communication skills
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
**Education and Experience:**
+ High school diploma or GED certificate preferred
+ 1+ years of experience in inventory management and warehouse operations required
**Working Conditions:**
+ Must be able to stand and work for 8+ hour shifts
+ Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 40lbs regularly
+ Must be capable of climbing ladders and stairs
+ Must be able to work in non-climate controlled areas
+ Must be able to wear required safety equipment
+ Must be available for overtime, including weekends
