 Position Description

Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.

Essential Job FunctionsVerify outgoing shipments, packing or shipping authorizations.Assemble cardboard containers and insert fillers or protective padding.Complete applicable shipping transactions.Complete incoming receiving process.Prepare bulk/palletized orders for shipment.Complete basic Cincom shipping transactions.Complete international shipping.Route incoming items to appropriate departments.Provide input on continuous improvement on shipping processes.Train others.

·         Ability to work regularly and dependably.

·         Ability to function and thrive in a team environment.

·         Demonstrate ability to cope with stress and maintain a pleasant and cooperative temperament with internal and external customers.

·         Supports the QMS by delivering quality products and services and meeting quality objectives

·         Works to consistently meet and exceed customer requirements

·         Demonstrate ability to perform mental tasks such as making decisions, learning, thinking rationally and exercising good judgment.

Education, Experience & Skills

·         High School diploma or GED required.

·         Minimum level computer skills, keyboarding, and 10 key.

High energy level, quick learner, and highly flexible.Demonstrated self-starter and self-finisher.Positive attitude.

Physical Requirements

·         Ability to effectively communicate with others both written and orally.

·          Mobility within the work facility. 

·         Frequent standing and walking.

·         Frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
