Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting inventory management and logistics. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, dependability, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Receiving Clerk
**Location:** Charlevoix, MI
**Pay Range: $19/hr-$21.50/hr**
**Shift: 630am-5pm, M-TH**
**What's the Job?**
+ Assist with the daily pickup schedule as needed
+ Verify counts of goods being received and consolidate materials when possible
+ Work closely with Receiving Coordinator on additional assignments and improvement ideas/initiatives
+ Perform cycle counts and research missing parts
+ Receive product into the warehouse utilizing current SOPs, unload shipments, and verify contents
**What's Needed?**
+ High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
+ 1+ year of experience in receiving or shipping
+ Ability to quickly learn new computer skills and work within email, calendar, and other systems
+ Good communication skills and keen eye for detail
+ Willingness to learn new processes and procedures
