Purpose
The Receiver / ICC Manager is responsible for overseeing all receiving, inventory control, and back‑room processes to ensure accurate product flow, inventory integrity, and operational efficiency. This role supports store profitability through tight controls, compliance, and coordination with department leaders and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily receiving operations, including deliveries, verification, and documentation
Ensure accurate receiving, logging, and disposition of all warehouse and DSD product
Maintain inventory accuracy through proper processes, audits, and system controls
Oversee ICC processes including credits, transfers, damages, and returns
Ensure proper back‑room organization, cleanliness, and safety standards
Lead, train, schedule, and develop receiving/ICC associates as applicable
Monitor shrink, shortages, and discrepancies; investigate and resolve variances
Maintain compliance with company policies, food safety, and safety procedures
Communicate with vendors, department managers, and store leadership as needed
Support store leadership with inventory‑related reporting and controls
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong understanding of receiving and inventory control processes
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage shrink, credits, and discrepancy resolution
Effective organization, time‑management, and communication skills
Ability to lead and hold associates accountable to standards
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior receiving, inventory control, or grocery operations experience required
Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Ability to work early mornings, flexible schedules, and weekends as needed
