**Job Title: Shipping Clerk** **Job Description** We are seeking a Shipping Clerk who is a self-starter and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Our focus is on making work enjoyable and engaging, while also supporting your professional development and career goals. **Responsibilities** + Pull parts for shipments as required. + Package products as required. + Obtain weight and dimensions of products being shipped. + Use Infor to process shipments. + Use carrier websites to arrange for pickup and/or delivery of products. + Maintain accurate inventory. **Essential Skills** + Experience with inventory management and forklift operation. + Proficiency in UPS WorldShip, FedEx, and LTL software. + At least one year of experience in a warehouse environment focused on shipping, receiving, or other major warehouse functions. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Knowledge of computers and ability to quickly grasp computer proficiency. + Familiarity with packaging standards and warehouse equipment. + Ability to count parts and record data accurately and timely. + Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. + Customer service focus. + Willingness to take on new responsibilities and develop new skills. + Ability to work within tight timeframes and prioritize duties. + Adaptability to a dynamic and changing environment. + Ability to follow processes and safety guidelines accurately. + Manual dexterity with frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, stooping, reaching, grasping, and crouching. + Ability to lift or exert force up to 50 pounds frequently, with team lifting for heavier items. + Frequent pushing and pulling with a manual pallet jack or wheeled cart. **Why Work Here?** We offer a supportive work environment with opportunities for career growth and development. The warehouse features approximately 10 workstations where you'll work alongside 3-4 colleagues in a medium-sized, enclosed space. Dress code includes a plain black t-shirt (provided after the first few weeks), jeans in blue, khaki, or black, and tennis shoes. Expect to stand 100% of the time. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
