**Job Title: Rebar Worker** **Job Description** A Rebar Worker, also known as a 'Rod Buster,' is responsible for positioning, cutting, bending, and tying steel reinforcing bars (rebar) or mesh within concrete forms. This role is crucial in creating a skeleton that strengthens concrete structures. The Rebar Worker will use tools such as grinders, benders, cutters, and pliers, and will be required to interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the correct layout of the rebar based on given dimensions. **Responsibilities** + Position, cut, bend, and tie steel reinforcing bars or mesh within concrete forms. + Use tools such as grinders, benders, cutters, and pliers to assemble rebar. + Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the correct layout of rebar. + Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and regulations. **Essential Skills** + At least 4 years of experience in laying out, planning, and cutting rebar in a commercial/industrial setting. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics. + Skillful in using tools such as grinders, benders, cutters, and pliers. + Experience in concrete and construction work. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience as a lead or supervisor is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values skill and precision, offering opportunities to work on challenging projects in a supportive and collaborative environment.
