Summary You will serve as a REAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENTBRANCH MANAGER in the NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING SYSTEMS COMMAND, PUBLIC WORKS of NAVFAC NORTHWEST. The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Responsibilities You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, setting and adjusting short-term priorities, ensuring work is properly inducted, and prepare schedules for completion of work. You will be responsible to actively support and promote all aspects of the Equal Employment Opportunity as directed by applicable laws and regulations. You will identify and manage multiple products and serves. You will be responsible for Navy Real Property, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Shore Facilities Planning System (SFPS) to include Asset Evaluations (AE), Basic Facilities Requirements (BFR), and Facility Planning Document (FPD). You will determine and recommend resources needed to adjust or reallocate among functions or organizational units, resources which can include funding or staffing. You will serve as a Government Official in the selection of contractors to provided products and services, prepares statement of work, and government estimates to ensure that actions are conducted as required. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS -12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1)Leading, supervising, managing of a team of facilities planners, developmental planners, Real Property Accountable Officers, Geographic Information Systems, and Community Planning Liaison Officers; 2)Planning work to be accomplish by subordinates, setting and adjusting short-term priorities; 3)Assisting in developing and executing the annual requirements of budgets impacting the Real Property Management Branch; 4) Determining and recommending resources to be adjusted or reallocated among functions or organizational units.
