Real Estate and Ambulatory Facilities Manager

Job Summary
This position will be responsible for executing corporate real estate tasks across three main service lines including transaction management, ambulatory facility management and portfolio administration across Bon Secours Mercy Health.

***This is a remote/work from home position. Hire must be able to work eastern time zone hours.


Essential Functions

Support the VP, Real Estate & Ambulatory Facilities with transactions being handled in-house, especially those resulting from mergers, acquisitions and dispositions.

Support the Director, Real Estate Strategic Planning with research and analysis for key projects.

Field questions from the markets and transaction managers regarding lease language, operating expense calculation, landlord matters, and address other day-to-day issues as they arise.

Understand and champion processes and policies as found in the BSMH Real Estate Manual.

Interact as needed with external landlords, tenants, and service providers.

Coordinate ambulatory facility management activities in partnership with outsourced service provider.

Review, interpret, and provide guidance on real estate appraisals.

Work independently to execute a wide range of real estate-related tasks associated with the corporate real estate activity of the Ministry


Required Minimum Education

4-year Degree/Bachelor’s Degree

Employment Qualifications

Proven real estate professional with at least 5 years of progressive career responsibility and experience in commercial/healthcare real estate (required).

Knowledge of common commercial real estate practices including service outsourcing, terminology, market forces, trends, and techniques that affect non-core hospital real estate.

Computer and software skills (MS Office Suite).  Must be very proficient in MS Excel.

Proven ability to learn new software programs.

Customer focus (internal & external).

Excellent communication skills.  

Excellent research skills.

Impeccable attention to detail.
