The Reagent Manufacturing Technician is responsible for the production and collection of serum and overseeing animal care.
This position reports to the Ranch Supervisor and is part of the Ranch located in Winchester, CA and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Perform animal care and animal husbandry by monitoring the health of animals, providing emergency first aid, and administering medications.
Clean and maintain goat pens while responsible for outdoor pen infrastructure.
Perform plasmapheresis and injection procedures as well as titer test collections.
The essential requirements of the job include:
High school degree (or equivalent degree) with 5+ years of experience.
Experience with TT-Vet Teviot usage and an extensive knowledge of working with livestock.
Follow and establish work instructions and procedures with emphasis on quality and compliance with regulations (USDA) and high animal welfare standards.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Willing to drive tractors and other equipment.
Ability to lift, move or carry equipment/manual material handling up to 50lb. Ability to walk for extended periods of time.
Willing to acclimate to working in temperature extremes.
Must be willing to work with biohazardous material, dust, and chemicals.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Emergency veterinary medication administration.
Leadership roles that involve leading a team.

The annual salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $23-$25/hr. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
