Job Title: Reach Truck Operator

Job Description

Join our dynamic team in the warehouse side of a bustling production facility, where your skills will be put to use in palletizing boxes and wrapping them after packaging. You will spend the majority of your day, approximately 70-80% of your shift, operating a forklift. Your tasks will include racking large skids in tall racking systems and loading and unloading docked trailers. Additionally, you will be responsible for pulling customer orders and receiving inbound orders using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).

ResponsibilitiesOperate stand-up forklifts, specifically Crown brand, with 1 year experience preferred.Palletize and wrap boxes of chips.Rack large skids in tall racking systems.Load and unload docked trailers.Pull customer orders and receive inbound orders using the WMS system.Handle materials and inventory with precision.Lift items weighing between 10-20 lbs.Essential SkillsProficiency in operating stand-up forklifts (Crown brand preferred).Experience with material handling and palletizing.Knowledge of loading and unloading processes.Ability to use WMS systems and RF scanners.At least 1 year of experience with stand-up forklifts or 3+ years with standard Raymond reach or dockstocker.Additional Skills & QualificationsInventory management skills.Ability to stand for 12 hours.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Upon entering the warehouse, you will be required to wear a lab coat and full face/head hair mask, followed by washing and drying your hands at the designated station. The facility is slightly warm due to the fryers, but forklift operators will work outside the production area, moving in and out of production doors to pick up packed products. As a food manufacturing facility, cleanliness is paramount. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 11 PM to 7:30 AM. Personal protective equipment, including steel-toed boots, is mandatory.
