You will create software that enables your clients' hybrid-cloud and AI journeys. You'll have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies, ensuring the applications delivered are high performing, highly available, responsive, and maintainable. Your primary responsibilities include: * Specializes in creating and maintaining database applications for various platforms, including Linux, Unix, and Windows. Proficient in writing code in PL/SQL, T-SQL, and DB2 application development for LUW (Linux, Unix, and Windows). * Responsible for designing, developing, and testing database applications, ensuring they are efficient, secure, and meet the required specifications. * Strong understanding of database concepts, data modeling, and SQL programming. **Required technical and professional expertise** * At least 6 years of proven experience in RDBMS development with strong knowledge of DB2 and SQL. * Proficiency in database design, normalization, and indexing strategies. * Hands-on experience with performance tuning and query optimization. * Amenable to work in a client-dictated shift (day, mid, or night). * Open to work at any IBM site (Quezon City or Cebu). **Preferred technical and professional experience** JLPT N1-N3 Certification IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
