Our client, a leading organization in the food and beverage industry, is seeking a RD&A Lab Technician to join their team. As a Lab Technician, you will be part of the Research, Development & Application department supporting product evaluation, testing, and sample preparation. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: RD&A Technician

Location: Beloit, WI

Pay Range: $25 per hour

Shift: 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

Prepare beverage samples for evaluation, customer trials, and product approval Facilitate shipment of samples for internal and external customers, ensuring proper packing and labeling Set up tasting panels in the computer system and organize all sample preparations Test products according to established specifications and participate in tasting finished beverages Maintain organized stock of raw materials, finished products, and supplies in the lab

What's Needed?

Associates Degree in Food Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related Applied Science Scientific and analytical aptitudes with basic computer and mathematical skills Ability to taste and smell flavors and food products accurately Physical ability to stand for extended periods in a laboratory environment Willingness to work in a lab environment with exposure to chemicals, flavors, and food products, including potential allergens
